Someone to Talk To
Counseling and Testing Service provides free counseling and biofeedback services for students currently enrolled at ISU.
Counseling and biofeedback services include Single session relationship problems, academic difficulties, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, etc.
To make an appointment with a counselor, please call Counseling and Testing Service at (208) 282-2130. Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in summer.

Talk Saves Lives

Talk Saves Lives is the American Foundation for Suicide Preventions' standardized, 90-minute program that provides participants with a clear understanding of this leading cause of death, including the most up-to-date research on suicide prevention and what individuals can do in their communities to save lives.

Participants will learn common risk factors and warning signs associated with suicide and how to keep themselves and others safe.

Snowshoe & Cross-Country Ski at City of Rocks National Reserve

A great way to explore City of Rocks National Reserve and Castle Rocks State Park is on snowshoes or cross-country skis. Routes are not groomed, but there are miles of trails available for the adventurous winter traveler.

National Student Exchange Info Sessions

The National Student Exchange (NSE) provides accessible collegiate study away to undergraduate students at member colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Three information sessions will be held in the spring 2022 semester.
