Screening Program Assistants

We are looking for some Screening Program Assistants to help with on-going COVID screening. The Screening Program Assistants will assist the Screening Program Coordinator with the on-going screening site in Pocatello. Day to day responsibilities may include:
  • Managing inventory
  • Coordinating specimen shipping
  • Managing day-to-day operations of the screening site
  • Overseeing screening requirement notification and compliance tracking

These positions are part-time (up to 20 hours per week), temporary, on-site positions, expected to work approximately through the end of the spring semester.  Individuals interested in these positions should be available to start immediately. If you know of anyone who might be interested in these positions, please have them send a CV or resume with a short letter of interest to Jennifer Parrott by Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 5pm.

Have your resume reviewed by the career center staff before the Spring Career Fair. This year's resume roundup will be held through Handshake on Wednesday, February 17th from 11 AM - 1 PM.

A virtual information session will be held via Handshake February 11 featuring speakers from the FBI to inform students about career opportunities with the FBI. Students should register prior to attending the event, where they will be able to meet with an FBI recruiter from the Salt Lake City office and learn about opportunities in the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Topics include Special Agent Selection Process, Honors Internship Program, and Employment Benefits.

This week's wellness workshop will explore some "Crisis Survival Skills" to help you manage intense emotions so that you can proceed in a way that is helpful rather than making a situation worse.



12:00pm - State Department Information Session virtual :Meet with Scott Smith , the diplomat in residence for the rocky mountain region and learn about different career opportunities in the U.S. State department.

Performing Arts: Ordinary Days

Idaho State University’s School of Performing Arts will present the virtual live-stream of the musical “Ordinary Days” on Feb. 26, 27, and March 4, 5, and 6 at 7:30 p.m. live from the Black Box Theatre in the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center. Read More
