Need to complete your spring schedule?
Registration is open for the spring semester. Looking for something to fill out your schedule? Here's a few options from the Career Center.
Pathways to Conservation Careers – listed as ACAD 1199, CRN 27159 – is a 2 credit course for students interested in the field of natural resource management or ecology and conservation science. We will engage in hands-on activities led by professionals working in the field, tour ISU labs, meet faculty and students studying in the field, and make connections with a wide variety of employers across Southern Idaho.
Career and Life Planning– listed as COUN 1150 – is a 1 credit course that revolves around you and your career path. Find out what your professional interests and talents are, what careers exist that complement them, and majors and classes that will help you reach your goal. There are multiple sections, including fully online, so you can find the one that best fits you.
March through the Arch: In lieu of the traditional March through the Arch Idaho State is offering a complimentary graduate photo taken at Swanson Arch for each graduate. We recommend wearing your regalia and using these photos on your slides for the virtual ceremony. A University photographer will be stationed at Swanson Arch Friday, November 13, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. You do not need to sign up beforehand. Please observe physical distancing guidelines while there. Masks may be briefly removed for your photo, but should immediately be put back on once your photo has been taken. Group photos will not be allowed.
ISU Onstage: "ISU Onstage" is a brand new radio show on KISU that highlights the wealth of talent right here on our ISU campus. Join us every Friday evening at 7 p.m. to enjoy music, theatre, and other exciting collaborations performed by ISU students and faculty.
Counseling and Testing Services:Counseling and Testing offers free counseling and biofeedback services for all ISU students. Call us at 208-282-2130 to schedule an appointment. Join them online on Tuesdays from 12:15 to 12:45 for Virtual Wellness! Each week will feature a different topic to help you build resiliency and learn strategies for managing college and life.
