This year has gone beyond stressful. From elections to the pandemic, we are all on edge, but there are things we can do to maintain calm and well being. In this week’s series, we are focusing on one of those strategies: “Being Present.”

Being present means being there for yourself too. Being present for yourself can be hard when you feel you don’t have time or energy to draw from, but that feeling is signaling the importance of taking good care of yourself right now.
 
Being present is recognizing that you can’t do it all and focusing on doing what you can. It’s okay if you can do only the minimum at this moment. Be compassionate with yourself, and take care of your well being.
