This Mother's Day weekend, we will be breaking out our muscles and breaking a sweat in Rowing Cares third national ROW 5K Oar Bust! erg competition. SPRING 2024 SEASON INFORMATION: | |
Whoo-hoo! Our boats are fully rigged and experienced rowers will take to the water on this Thursday May 2nd.
The Spring 2024 Learn to Row (LTR) is now filled. Indoor LTR sessions will be held on Monday May 13th, Wednesday May 15th, Monday May 20th, and Wednesday May 22nd, from 5:45pm-7:15pm, at Pittsford Indoor Rowing Club (PIRC), 2800 Clover Street, Pittsford, NY 14534.
On the LTR outdoor water sessions will be held on Wednesday May 29th, Monday June 3rd, and Wednesday June 5th, from 5:45pm-8:00pm, at Genesee Waterways Center (GWC), 149 Elmwood Avenue in Genesee Valley Park, Rochester, NY 14611.

The Finger Lakes Region will be strongly represented in women's rowing at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games that will take place July 27-August 4, 2024. Two of the rowers Olivia Coffey (Watkins Glen Central School, Burdett, N.Y./Harvard University/USRowing Training Center – Princeton NJ) and Meghan Musnicki (Naples, N.Y./Ithaca College/ Oakland California Rowing Club) have HOMETOWN roots in upstate New York. Not forgetting Charlotte Buck (Nyack, N.Y./Columbia University/USRowing Training Center – Princeton NJ) with downstate roots. Altogether, three of the 2024 USA Olympic women's rowing team are from New York state. Go NY!

Maintaining professional diversity within the Board is important.
