Question: What lunar-calendar observance of merit-seeking (thawab) is currently engaging nearly a quarter of the world’s population? Answer: Ramadan (Feb. 17–Mar. 19, 2026).
Question: What strategic season calls followers of “the One of whom all the prophets testified” (Acts 10:43; 11:26) to pray fervently for Muslims? Answer: Ramadan.
• Pray that Muslims, amid their sincere striving, would feel the need for God's gift of perfect righteousness and complete redemption. Pray that, through the Scriptures, online resources, dreams, and patient gospel witnesses, they would encounter and fall in love with “the very Person Moses and the prophets wrote about!” (John 1:45 NLT)
• Pray also that true Christians (Acts 11:26; 26:27-29) living among them would lovingly and clearly communicate God's Good News in their heart languages so that they too may understand the consistent story and core message of the prophets and believe. • Pakistan: "I frequently tune in to The Way of Righteousness Saraiki programs broadcast by Trans World Radio. These broadcasts have been a great way to learn about Jesus and the prophets. I live in a small town. My family gets together to listen to the program whenever it airs. We are profoundly moved by the lessons. I had never come across such potent and clear teaching before. Our family has been showered with blessings ever since." • Greater Middle East: “Pray for one high-level government official who listened for hours to God’s plan of salvation — that the power of God’s Word will shatter his heart, be mixed with faith, and spring into eternal life. Pray that the film would continue to find its way into the hearts and homes of truth seekers.”
• Iran: Pray for the 90 million Iranians who stand at a crossroads of renewed hope. Pray that peace and justice will come to this nation and that God will use these events for the spread of the gospel. Just received this text from a contact in the region: “Pray for our fellow believers in Iran to share God’s message of hope amid the fear and turmoil.”

Tanzania: “The inaugural class at Tumaini Jipya (New Hope) Secondary School for Girls has begun their fourth and final year. Lord willing, 19 young women will graduate this November. This year, the school is connecting them with Tanzanian women professionals—teachers, doctors, nurses, and more—to help them envision next steps. Enrollment has grown to 87 students.” Remember how in July 2025 God provided funds for a school bus inspired by kids with lemonade stands? New Hope now has that bus! So useful!
Senegal: “The work continues here in our village with youth through sports. Pray too for the adults to whom I gave New Testaments and Scripture calendars at the start of Ramadan….”
"And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell..." (Heb. 11:32) the many ways we see God at work through ROCKids and ROCK’s resources to edify and equip His people to spread his life-giving and hope-transforming Word in hard places. Let us pray that the Light referred to in the Scripture at the top of this letter will shine into many hearts as Ramadan draws to a close — until next time (Heb. 10:11-14). Thank you for your prayers and for your part in God’s work in so many lives worldwide,
