Facilitating Meaningful Online Discussions, Even in Your Face-to-Face Classroom Self-Paced - Enroll Anytime Cost: $20 Earn 3 PD Clock Hours (PDCs) This self-paced online course was created to help teachers engage students in authentic online dialogue while building class community. This course will also provide you with a cheat sheet of tips you may consider before, during, and after you facilitate your discussions. Winter Book Club (Online)

Register with ROE 4 If you join by January 16, you will have your book and materials by February 1st. Empowered Educator Book Club Starts February 1, 2023 Through a partnership with the Regional Office of Education #4, we are able to offer you membership with the EmpowerEd Book Club. Cost: $79.95 Your membership includes: Your choice of book from the book club selections in either the Academics, SEL, or Leadership categories. Choice board with 9 activities. Complete 3 activities and receive 7 PDCs Invitation to our exclusive book club meet-up event and learning community access. 2 surprises - one from a local small business! ELA Community of Practice Cadre Year-Long/Meets Quarterly First Meeting Date: November 21, 2022 from 12:30pm-2:00pm Location: Peoria Public Library North Branch.  Cost: Free Earn 2 PD credits for attending each session Are you a reading specialist, literacy coach, or interventionist? The ROE 48 ELA Community of Practice Cadre is a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience, and ideas.  We will support one another through collaboration on innovation and best practices.   Register with ROE 48 New Educator Cadre - Closing Soon! Year-Long/Meets Once a Month Next Meeting: November 21/Online via Zoom 4:00pm-5:00pm Cost: Free Earn 1 PD credit for attending each session This network will help you stay current on information, best practices, training(s) offered, resources, and obtaining or maintaining a teaching license.  We will closing enrollment in this Cadre for this school year on November 18. Paraprofessional Cadre - Closing Soon! Meets every other month Next Meeting Date: December 6, from 8:30am-10:30am. Location: TBA Cost: Free Join ROE 48 as we bring together paraprofessionals from area schools and districts to connect, stay up-to-date on topics, and support each other. We will closing enrollment in this Cadre for this school year on December 2. Register today if you are interested in participating! Register with ROE 48 School Nurse Cadre Year-Long/Meets Twice a Year Meeting Date: Coming Soon Cost: Free Join ROE 48 as we bring together school and district nurses to connect, stay up to date on topics, and find support. Substitute Teacher Training Cost: Free This training will provide individuals with a general understanding of curriculum, classroom management techniques, school safety, and district/building operations. Individuals will be prepared to communicate with districts/schools about local procedures and expectations. Register for December 2 Training
