Ward 4 Open Council Seat

Mayor Poppa’s open council seat will be filled by application and appointment with ratification by the city council. The person appointed will also serve until November 2023 with the option to run to fill the unexpired term. If you live in Ward 4 in Roeland Park and are interested in serving, please fill out the application!


The first review of applications will occur after January 18th. A second review of applications will occur on February 1st.

Glass Recycling News


In January, Ripple Glass started curbside glass collection in Roeland Park and 21,540 POUNDS of glass were collected in the first pick-up! Thank you, Roeland Park! The next pick-up will be on your first solid waste pick-up in February.
