"As I’ve written numerous times in the past, all of these would run two to three times the cost if they were from Napa Valley."
—Jeb Dunnuck
"Eric Jensen’s side project, My Favorite Neighbor, has steadily been transforming itself into a Paso Robles juggernaut... As Cabernet-based wines from anywhere in California go, it is truly a steal."

Business as usual for Booker:
|
Booker garners 97-100 point scores and was a vineyard source for Saxum, former Spectator Wine of the Year, where Eric spent 5 years making wine with Justin Smith.
"My Favorite Neighbor" is an hommage to his mentor, Stephan Asseo of L'Aventure where he spent two years making wine.

Dear Artisans,
Stop what you're doing and back up the truck.
You've been waiting and inquiring for a year; thank you for your patience.
It was worth the wait. Both the wines and sale prices are even better this year.
How??
- Booker changed the AVA from Paso Robles to San Luis Obispo County to allow exceptional yet under-priced vineyard gems outside Paso and down to Edna Valley.
-
No wonder this vintage reminded me of Screaming Eagle's JONATA down in Santa Ynez.
- The My Favorite Neighbor wines are now cellar-worthy Central Coast Super Cabs that combine the best of both worlds.
- Clocking in below 14.5% alcohol, these are not jammy synthetic wines.
- Like L'Aventure, Saxum, and Denner: Drinks great young yet can age.
There's so much more to say about Booker, which you can read here.
Our winery deal is made possible through our combined buying power.
But, these aren't large production wines!
The limited time and deep quantity discounts are both to incentivize and thank you.
Cheers,
—James Tran

2019 Harvey & Harriet Cab Blend
- Blend: 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot, 10% Petite Sirah, 20% Syrah, 10% Malbec
- Aged: 18 months in 60% new oak
- Alcohol: 14.5%
94 Points - Robert Parker's WA:
"Deep ruby-purple, the 2019 Harvey & Harriet has beguiling crushed red and black cherries, tar, coffee beans and dark spicy and savory accents on the nose. Full-bodied but light on its feet and easy to drink, it offers a fine balance of powerful fruit intensity and seamless freshness, a style that will appeal to a wide range of red-wine drinkers, from lovers of Zinfandel to fans of Cabernet. Drink 2022-2037." -EB (3/15/22)
94 Points - Jeb Dunnuck
"As to the reds, the 2019 Harvey and Harriet can be thought of as the more approachable, lush red in the lineup, and it always seems more black fruit-driven than the straight Cabernet Sauvignon. Blackberries, sweet tobacco, cedar, and some floral violet nuances define the nose, and it’s medium to full-bodied, with a beautiful texture and silky tannins. It’s a smoking value, and while it has plenty of up-front charm, it certainly has a decade or more of overall longevity. As I’ve written numerous times in the past, all of these would run two to three times the cost if they were from Napa Valley." (9/30/2021)
92 Points - Vinous:
"Opaque ruby. Black raspberry, cherry, licorice and subtle vanilla and candied rose nuances on the lively, smoke-tinged nose. Smooth and expansive on the palate, offering juicy cherry and dark berry flavors that show fine definition and acquire a spicy quality with air. Gently gripping tannins add shape to a very long, floral- and spice-tinged finish that leaves mocha and red berry notes behind."

2019 My Favorite Neighbor Cabernet Sauvignon
- Blend: 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot, 8% Petite Sirah, 3% Syrah, 1% Malbec
- Aged: 18 months in 70% new, 30% neutral French Oak
- Alcohol: 14.4%
96 Points - Robert Parker's WA:
"Blended with a bit of Syrah and Petit Verdot, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep ruby-purple color and an alluring fragrance of cassis, violet, aniseed, bitter chocolate and coffee beans. It's notable this vintage for Goldilocks ripenes - Erin Brooks (Mar 2022)s and seamless lift, offering a chocolate-like texture and very long finish. Drink 2022-2037." -EB (3/15/22)
95 Points - Jeb Dunnuck
"The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is more elegant and focused, with medium to full-bodied aromas and flavors of cassis, redcurrants, green tobacco, and cedary spice. I love its texture, it has ripe, polished tannins, plenty of sweet fruit, and a great, great finish, all while staying in a relatively compact, and again, elegant package. As I’ve written in the past, it would cost three to four times the price from Napa. It’s worth noting the change in appellation from Paso Robles to San Luis Obispo County, which probably allows for a wider range of fruit." (9/30/2021)
95 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
"This newer brand for Eric Jensen of Booker fame offers a high-class taste of the Central Coast for a somewhat affordable price. It's dark in the glass, with heavy aromas of baked blackberry, cocoa and violet, the ample fruit balanced by woody, herbal spices. The structure is firm and the density is impressive, with concentrated dark-cherry, berry, caramel and nutmeg flavors." - MK (12/1/2021)

"The Chardonnay-bases 2020 Blanc has lush tropical fruits on the nose with accents of toast, almonds and sweet spice. The palate offers generous fruits, a sleek, polished texture, youthful new oak spices and expansive flavors on the long finish. Super classy!" - Erin Brooks (Mar 2022)
