NBOA’s 13th Annual Summer Soiree a Hugely Successful and Fun Evening

Thursday, August 7th, was a truly memorable night. Over eight hundred housing providers, suppliers, and contractors gathered at Artifact Events in Ravenswood for NBOA’s annual Summer Soiree, celebrating Chicago's neighborhood housing industry.

The event was a wonderful opportunity to learn new things, make new friends, and reconnect with old ones. It truly showcased how much we care about our work and each other. As we face the challenges of providing clean, safe, and affordable housing for residents throughout Chicagoland, your support of the Soiree helps ensure that the NBOA and its affiliates like the Rogers Park Builders Group can continue to advocate for you and the people we serve.

The Rogers Park Builders Group is a proud affiliate of the NBOA and I was thrilled that so many of our members attended.

At our July meeting, we celebrated the contributions of one of our long term Directors, community stalwart Dan Sullivan - who envisioned and implemented the transformation of a once struggling retail corridor along Jarvis and Greenview into the vibrant hub of the Rogers Park community called "Jarvis Square." Jarvis Square now has a number of community businesses, including a wine shop, a tavern, restaurant, coffee shop, antique store and more, and dedicated business leaders host wonderful community events throughout the year in Jarvis Square's al fresco outdoor area.
