Dress Down and Gear Up for
Creation Care Sunday on June 23
RPC will celebrate our annual Earth Day on June 23.
The theme for the day is : Our Endangered Insects

When you think of endangered species, few people think of the disappearing insect. While this is a large problem, it is an area where one person can make a big difference by planting more native plants in your own yard and using less pesticides. On June 23rd we will honor insects, the unsung heroes of our food chain, then continue the celebration at home by planting some native plants and using less pesticides. Here is the plan for the day:
  • Come to church via carpool, bus, bike or walk
  • Dress comfortably
  • We will consume less paper on this Sunday
  • Dress up as your favorite insect or join us in Sunday School (children's) that morning to create your own insect mask to wear in worship.

A Shiny New Database
RPC is in the process of transitioning to a new database called Realm for personal information, contributions and registration of events. Please bear with us amidst this transition. iRiverside accounts will be transferred to Realm. The Church Life App, which many members used as a member directory, is no longer being updated. Realm has an app that will take its place. We will be providing more information at a later date regarding the next steps.
