It's that time of year and you need to attend the Multi State courses we have. Expand your ability to carry into 37 states - legally. We offer the courses at least 2 to 3 times a month so there is no excuse not to attend. Join us!!!

Now, another great course, the Vehicle Tactics Course. We've run three sessions this year with great success and we got an invitation to run ONE MORE in 2020.

David and Company, a training group from the Erie PA area is hosting the Vehicle course on November 21 at their private range facility. If you are in the area, or can be in the area, and want to join us, get in touch with Ian and get signed up. This will be a fun filled and VERY educational session.

Wednesday Eve Winter Training sessions:

Keeping the Edge Sharp.

Location: The RPD LLC Training Center, 300 Buell Rd, Rochester, NY 14624

Time: 6 to 8pm

A series of dry fire (no ammo used) sessions that will keep your skills fresh until we go live again next year. What's the advantage? Guided practice, a sense of community, and an excuse to practice.

Each night will be a different topic.

Week 1: Draw practice and diagnostics

Week 2: Retention

Week 3: The Art of the Press (trigger control)

Week 4: Disarming

Week 5: Reloading/malfunction clearing

Week 6: First Aid/Trauma care

The weeks will cycle. If all goes well, there will be at least three if not 4 cycles.

The nights are 15.00 a session. Drop in, plan ahead, whatever works. If you register for 6, you get a discount.

Shotgun Courses - Intro and Home Defense

We've answered the call and have stepped up for you! in adding more Introduction to Shotgun and Home Defense Shotgun courses, we are making it possible for you to get the training you need with your long gun!

The Introduction To Shotgun course is designed for those that are wondering what to get, or have bought one and want to know how it operates. This course has been HIGHLY popular and has filled nearly every time we've run it.

Use of Force Laws For The Armed Citizen: Article 35

If you carry or have ANY kind of firearm for self defense, you need to attend this course. It's that important.

The Article 35 course covers NY State's Justification of Defense criteria. This means the part where you are legally allowed to use a firearm to defend a life.

The problem is, not many people know what they should know about this topic. Making a mistake here can cost someone their life and cost you tens of thousands of dollars, and quite possibly, your freedom.

AMMO!!!! AMMO!!! AMMO!!!!

I do have SOME ammunition available. Here's the scoop:

From time to time, I will find a private seller or provider of ammunition who is looking to drop some of their stockpile. They'll contact me, tell me what they have, and how much they'd like to get for it.

Then I pass it along to you. You will have to contact me for the pricing.

I also have a SMALL supply of 9mm. If you are taking an upcoming USCCA Handgun Basics course, you will have priority. I actually bought some a while ago to supply classes and have been affording new shooters the chance to learn.

If you need some larger amounts of ammo for practice, contact me and if can also order some for you if you wish.

Details on ammo: I will not ship it. Don't ask. You must come to the training Center to pick it up. Cash on delivery or checks in advance. If you want to use a credit card I'll charge 3% extra to cover my fees. I can also accept Venmo payments as well. First come, first serve.

You're safe until you're not. For a lot of people, a comfort level exists because they live in a low crime area or they work at a relatively safe job, etc. I learned a long time ago that denial is a soft fuzzy blanket that we wrap ourselves in - and it's an unsafe state of mind. There are predators among us who will take every opportunity to do whatever it is they want; all they need is the chance. We'll train you to be prepared and stay safe.
