This Organizational Standards Center of Excellence Peer-to-Peer webinar will focus on an example of a career pathways framework for CAA personnel in Massachusetts.  The Massachusetts Association for Community Action (MASSCAP) conducted a Community Action Career Pathways Research Project, identifying and documenting career pathways in the common occupation areas of the 23 CAAs in MA. The recently published report identifies the skills and training needed by CAA employees to move upward on a career pathway, as well as recommendations on developing a culture of professional development and career planning within CAAs.

This webinar will provide key information and findings of the study which was funded by the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Workforce Development's Workforce Training Fund.

CSBG List of "Other Indicators"   (NEW)- NASCSP is
releasing a list of Other NPIs that can be used when reporting in the CSBG Annual Report. This is a list of common indicators that the CSBG network said were missing from the Annual Report. NASCSP reviewed hundreds of indicators from the network and with the help of the CSBG DATA Task Force, narrowed them down to the most common indicators not already found in the Annual Report.

CSBG Annual Report Lexicon- (NEW!)- This lexicon serves as a dictionary for terms in relation to CSBG and the Annual Report. The DATA Task Force Guidance and Training Committee has worked extensively on this tool, and the general DATA Task Force has provided feedback to ensure the definitions are acceptable and useful for the Network. This document is meant to be a quick reference for terms as you work on your Annual Report submissions. For more detailed guidance and instructions around the Annual Report, please refer to the Instruction Manuals located here.

(NEW!)- The Community Initiative Status Form (CIS) is the entry form for Community Action Agencies (CAAs) reporting community level in Module 3 of the CSBG Annual Report. This document was developed to assist CSBG State Offices in reviewing the CIS and thus all Module 3 reporting.
