NGPC Round 9 Blythe, CA
This past weekend the RPM Race Team made the trip to Blythe, CA for Round nine of NGPC Series.

FMF RPM KTM Racing Team's Mateo Oliveira claimed the Pro 2 class championship after notching his eighth win of the season in Blythe. After finishing second in the championship in 2020 and 2021, Mateo put all the pieces together to claim the title one round early this year. Mateo was able to get a good start to the hour and a half pro race fighting to be up front to stay out of the dust. After gaining the lead, Mateo was able to stay on top of the deep sand and grab his eighth win of the season and the Pro 2 championship.

Kaitlyn Jacobs got off to a decent start at the beginning of the Pro Women's race before making a pass on lap four gaining her a podium position. The deep sand and intense course conditions played a massive part in visibility and fatigue but Kaitlyn was able to push through and secure a spot on the box with a third place Pro Women finish.
