LAG BA'OMER COMMUNITY WIDE EVENT

STANDING TOGETHER

A parlor meeting is being held on Monday, May 11 at 8:00 pm at the home of Iva and Steven Dyckman, 6 Redcoat Drive in East Brunswick to support Standing Together, www.stogether.org.  This charity gives support and appreciation to IDF soldiers on behalf of people all over the world.  They supply soldiers with tactical and operational gear as well as ice cream parties and barbecues to help boost their moral.  Ari Fuld, a sergeant in an elite paratrooper unit and the assistant director of the organization will share his personal IDF experiences and raise awareness and funds for the summer campaign for Standing Together.

PEACE OF MIND THANKS YOU

Peace of Mind thanks the Edison/Highland Park/East Brunswick/New Brunswick community - thank you for celebrating Yom Ha'Atzmaut with us and showing your support for Peace of Mind! We had a great turn out from the full range of our wonderfully diverse Jewish community, a lot of fun and it was a very successful fundraiser for Peace of Mind. POM is an organization that helps IDF veterans  transition back to civilian life. Our community is planning to once again host a unit of combat soldiers in 2016. We need your continued support to help us reach our fundraising goal in order to make this happen! Stay tuned for future events and parlor meetings.

RPRY PTA

The PTA is partnering with ShoeBox Recycling, a for-profit recycler of shoes.  We are collecting used, but still wearable pairs of men's, women's, and kid's shoes.  The PTA earns some money as we recycle as many pairs of shoes as possible.  Please drop off your used shoes at RPRY, placing them into the ShoeBox Recycling box that is located in the school lobby.

RPRY PTA Cookbook is available for sale.  Visiting a family for Shabbat?   This is a great gift. The cost of the book is $25.00.  For more information contact pta@rpry.org.
