Early Easter Worship at 9:30 a.m.

It has been RRCC's tradition to have an early service on Easter, and to gather outside. We've gathered over by our neighborhood lake on a number of occasions, and in recent years we've celebrated out in front of the church, under our beautiful porte cochère. Lots of Praise Band music and the flowering of the cross have been highlights of this informal and joyous service. 

Though we won't be able to celebrate in the same way this year, we will still "gather" at 9:30 a.m. via Zoom and worship our risen Savior together. At that time, please click on the link and join us. And why not forward this email to your family and friends and invite them to join us for one or both of our Easter services!

Main Easter Worship at 11:00 a.m.

A highlight of our 11:00 a.m. Easter Service each year is the chancel choir's Easter cantata.
The choir had begun to prepare for this year's cantata before the local pandemic-related gathering restrictions took effect. Though this year's Easter celebration will not include a cantata, we hope you'll join us at 11:00 a.m. via Zoom to celebrate Christ's victory over sin and death. Good Friday Prayer Vigil    

The Good Friday Prayer Vigil is happening right now! Our RRCC people are engaged in 12 solid hours of prayer today--from 6am to 6pm. Thanks to all who are participating.

Didn't sign up for a specific time slot? Not to worry! Spend some time in prayer today.  
God's schedule is always open for YOU!

Here's Another Way to Help the Round Rock Area Serving Center

Here's a free, easy, and important way to help the Serving Center's Food Pantry:

"We are in need of plastic bags. We are going to leave purple barrels in front of the Furniture Store (west side of the building)* to collect your bags. You can just drive by, toss your bags in and drive off. You will not have to get out of your car.

Prayer Updates

Perry Mouser has been diagnosed with Bell's Palsy and is recuperating at home

On Saturday, Marilyn Davis will move in with her son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Keri Davis. She will not return to The Oaks. Her stroke recovery is going very well. Her new address will be 1102 Parkway St., Georgetown, TX 78628

Darlia Hunt's daughter, Debra (a nurse) tested negative for COVID-19 but remains very fatigued

Charles Whitley -- continued recovery from shingles

All who are impacted by COVID-19 worldwide (the sick, health care professionals, and the essential service people who must continue to work even during this time of staying at home and "social distancing"). Many in our RRCC church family have family members and friends who are medical professionals and other essential workers

All who have had to delay surgeries and other medical, dental, and vision appointments 

Residents of nursing homes and other retirement complexes who are currently unable to receive personal visits from anyone, even their immediate family members.
