Very Proud of our RSA Science Olympiad Teams!
RSA Middle and High School Science Olympiad Teams came home with 22 medals from the NJIT Science Olympiad Tournament, on Tuesday, January 8th,2019. MashaAllah, our high school team is advancing to the NJ State Tournament in March, and our Middle School Team received an invitation to join the Science Olympiad Tournament at Harvard University in February! We are proud of our RSA Stars! Special thanks to all RSA coaches who have been working tirelessly with the students to prepare them for their events! Keep Shining RSA Stars!

RSA Staff are CPR & AED Certified
In partnership with the American Heart Association, RSA staff received full CPR and AED training by Br.Abraham Musabeh during our teacher professional development days. Our goal is to provide all RSA staff members with the skills and practices that promote a safe and healthy learning environment for our students.

Technology and Project Based Learning at RSA
At RSA, the application of technology and project-based learning across all subject areas throughout all grade levels allows the students to become directors and managers of their own learning process.The following are some examples of RSA students engaged in learning activities that empowers our students to become independent workers, critical thinkers and life-long learners.
Middle and high school students code their games from scratch and apply them in our elementary classrooms!
Under the guidance of Sr. Waheetha, our technology education teacher, middle and high school students learned how to design and code their own games from scratch. Omar Eldeeb, 8th grade, designed his own Space Game and shared the experience with the 2nd Grade students. The students were fascinated by his great efforts. Similarly, Ahmed Aly, a freshman, designed his Electricity theme two levels game. The 3rd graders enjoyed playing the game in their class!

Learning Math & Science in 2nd Grade
Hands on learning in 2nd grade is beyond fun! In Sr. Sumaiya's math and science classes, 2nd graders are always engaged in experiential learning activities promoting long-life learners.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Awareness at RSA
In recognition of Martin Luther's King Day, RSA students enjoyed reading and writing activities across the grade levels to learn about the life of the famous civil rights leader.
4th Grade Math: It's All About Fractions
In Sr. Sanna's 4th grade math class, the students practiced equivalent fractions using ice cream cones and scoops while enjoying ice cream. An enjoyable tasty Math class!
Literacy in 3rd Grade!
In Sr. Tamam's language arts class, the students were assigned a reading/writing project where they took on a reading challenge during Winter Break. In celebration of doing an awesome job, they had their own Hot Chocolate Party as they shared what they learned from their stories.
Arabic Language Learning in our Early Childhood classes!

The PreK and KG students had a blast riding their bikes in school for the Arabic letter د . Sr. Nisreen's learning activities are always fun and creative!
Arabic Words Building in KG
In Sr. Razan's Arabic class, KG students are able to build words from scrambled letters then write them down with their own handwriting! A great penmanship activity for our young writers!

NHS Star Project
February 5-7, 2019
Our national honor society students from all chapters will work on collecting books and school supplies to support needy schools for refugees in Africa, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.
2nd Marking Period Report Card Distribution
February 6, 2019
Students in Pre-K through 12th grade will receive their report cards. Students with any failing grade will receive parent-teacher conference form invitations.
100 Days of School Celebration
February 7th, 2019
Students in Pre-K to 3rd will be engaged in 100 days themed activities in recognition of completing 100 school days.The mothers' committee will be selling hot chocolate and macaroons!
Harvard Science Olympiad
February 9, 2019
Mashaallah, our middle school science olympiad team was invited to join the Harvard Science Olympiad tournament at Harvard University. We wish them the best of luck!
2nd MP Principal's Brunch
February 12, 2019
Students who achieved the principal's list are invited with their parents to the Principal's brunch to celebrate their academic excellence.
In-School Spelling Bee
February 13, 2019
The top 5 spellers from grades KG-8th will be competing in the In-school spelling bee. The 3 finalists from each grade will move on to the last round in March. Parents are welcome to attend!
