Assalamu Alaikum RSA Family,
As we countdown the days to Ramadan, we pray to Allah SWT that you are showered with the blessings of the special days of Sh'aban. Usamah ibn Zayd (RAA) said: "I said, O Messenger of Allah, I do not see you fasting in any other month like you fast in Sha'ban." He said (SAWS): "That is a month to which people do not pay attention, between Rajab and Ramadan, and it is the month in which deeds are lifted to the Lord of the Worlds. I like for my deeds to be lifted up when I am fasting." (Narrated by Al-Nasa'i).
We pray that all members of the RSA family make the most of this blessed month of Sha'ban and use it as a time for self-reflection, spiritual renewal, and preparation for the upcoming month of Ramadan!

As we reflect on our last months in RSA, we would like to sincerely thank all RSA students, staff and parents for fostering the positive school culture that supported the wellbeing of our students. Sr. Fadia's High School Debate team has already competed in two East Coast HSPDP tournaments in New York. Our students shined as they joined to engage in structured discussions and arguments about various topics, issues, or ideas. We are proud of Dulce Haddabah for winning the award for our school's 'Best Speaker' in both tournaments! |

RSA Students Celebrate 100 Days of School |

On February 8th, students in grades Pre-K to 5th celebrated 100 days of school. They were creative in their dress up to look 100 years old! They all enjoyed the 100 themed classroom activities and the best part was the 100 days march when they visited the upper grades! |

Author Read Aloud & Puppet Show by Tayyaba Syed |
|
Award-winning children's books author Tayyaba Syed shared with our Pre-K to 5th graders her best-award story "The Blessed Bananas." In her read-aloud and story-time, Ms. Syed shared with the students the many blessings Allah bestowed upon us after listening to the story of the cranky old monkey Rico and his precious bananas. Students got to understand the moral and life lesson from the story and then wrapped their session with arts and crafts activities. Students who purchased the book received a special written message from the author.
