RSC Chemical Solutions' GUNK Brand Renews with Arie Luyendyk Jr. for 2016 TORC Season
MOORESVILLE, N.C. --February 15, 2016--The iconic paint scheme of the GUNK-branded PRO 2 of Arie Luyendyk Jr. will light up the track again this season for the Charlotte-based company. RSC Chemical Solutions, the parent company of GUNK, LIQUID WRENCH, MOTOR MEDIC and TITESEAL, will partner with Arie Luyendyk Racing (ALR) in all seven TORC: The Off-Road Championship events. Arie Luyendyk Jr. will drive the GUNK #25 truck for a third consecutive season.

"I'm so fortunate and thankful that GUNK has stood beside me the last few years. We have definitely grown together and enjoyed some success," said Luyendyk. "More than ever I can't wait to see what 2016 brings. I'm excited to wear GUNK blue and show everyone what we have been working on this winter. You won't find tougher cleaners and degreasers in the market, and I'm proud to represent them."

"We're excited to be supporting ALR again this year," said Marshal Livingstone, RSC Director of Marketing. "Luyendyk's commitment to racing and our brand is unparalleled and we're looking forward to many exciting podium finishes this year."

2015 marked a few milestones in Luyendyk's career. His company, Arie Luyendyk Racing, added Cam Reimers in the Pro Light Series who grabbed a win for partner LIQUID WRENCH. In the driver's seat at X Games, Luyendyk charged from the rear of the main event to grab a Bronze medal behind mentor Robby Gordon and Gold-medalist Sheldon Creed.

Luyendyk has set his sights on a breakthrough year in 2016, moving the ALR shop to Charlotte, N.C., and purchasing a championship-caliber PRO 2 truck.

"With a new truck, new shop, and a professional staff, we have redesigned our program for 2016," said Luyendyk. "We have formed great partnerships over the years that allow us to grow our team. We are ready to get racing and turn some heads."
