, volunteers will sort donated toys to ready them for distribution the next day. The morning of December 15

, volunteers will continue to ready the toys for distribution, and then in the afternoon, parents will choose toys that best fit their children. Volunteers will help guide parents through that process, restock tables with toys, and help wrap presents and engage children in activities. Please email

is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as over 1,100 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad. There is no age limit to volunteer. We encourage families to come and share the experience.

: The Hunter Mill District Winter Coat Closet is a program that distributes free hats, coats, gloves, and other winter gear that is run jointly by Cornerstones and the Hunter Mill District Supervisor’s Office. Volunteers help to accept and sort incoming donations, assist customers with selecting coats, and record all coats that are distributed.
