RSVP gives a special salute to June Taylor who has served as RSVP’s Lincoln County Field Representative for over 22 years.

Thank you June for being a shining star and faithful volunteer, helping to ensure that Nevada’s seniors receive the care and lifesaving services which are so necessary for the health, independence and dignity they deserve.
Volunteer Training Session: August 12th

Calling all RSVP volunteers and those interested in volunteering! RSVP will hold its quarterly training session for Volunteers on Monday, August 12 th , 9:00 am - noon.  The training will be hosted in the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension Conference Room located at 2621 Northgate Lane, Suite 12, Carson City.   

This month's training will cover the following topics:
• Do’s and don’ts of respite
• Reporting deadlines and submission standards
• Upcoming events and other news

Interested parties are welcome and encouraged to join us for this free training. Veterans Resource Fair Coming
in September  

RSVP and the RSVP Veterans Advisory Council will present the Carson City Veterans Resource Fair on September 7th. Veterans and their caregivers will be provided with information on valuable services and programs provided by area nonprofits, advisory groups, government agencies and the private sector.

RSVP’s 2018 Annual Report Coming Soon  

RSVP is 45 years strong- and will soon release its 2018 Annual Report as a reflection of the past year and the support of our communities which has been outstanding. 

Through the gifts of volunteerism, individual donations, corporate contributions, grants and successful partnerships, RSVP has supported Nevada’s Seniors, Veterans, Caregivers and adults with disabilities who desperately need our help. 

Our Annual Report is another good source of information for current and prospective volunteers, clients, families, donors, grantors, partners and community supporters. Stay tuned!
A Note of Thanks to the City of Fernley

RSVP sends a special thank you to the City of Fernley, Mayor Roy Edgington, Jr., and Council Members for the grant award to help continue the lifesaving services for seniors and adults with disabilities who desperately need our help with transportation, respite care, companionship and other services in Fernley.

RSVP is a proud partner of the Nevada Lifespan Respite Care Coalition (NLRCC) - a voluntary organization with the mission to support caregivers in our community by promoting awareness and access to, as well as coordination and advocacy for, respite services in Nevada throughout the lifespan.
