Make your Sunday sweet by volunteering with IHOP and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS)! Help IHOP and LLS raise funds in the fight against blood cancers by asking IHOP patrons to donate to LLS. Volunteers will be helping servers in various IHOP's by talking to customers and selling LLS icons. It is not required to sign-up for multiple Sunday volunteer shifts. Volunteers are needed to facilitate the Speak up Be Safe curriculum in Fairfax County Elementary Schools. The curriculum focuses on child safety and child abuse prevention; it aims at empowering children in case they are threatened or victimized. Facilitators will be trained and asked to commit for 1 year, facilitating four 2 hour classes per/month. The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program will be providing free federal tax return preparation and e-filing from February 1 through April 15, 2019 for taxpayers of all ages.
