"In the heart of Puglia, where the land meets the sea, I've learned that cooking is more than a skill; it's a dance with nature's bounty and a symphony of tradition. Every dish we create tells a story of generations past and present, reminding us that true culinary magic lies in honoring our roots while embracing the art of innovation."
Award-winning chef Antonello Zito brings the heart and soul of his native Puglia, Italy, to Southern California. Raised around family cooking with his mother and grandmother in Bari, Italy, Zito developed a passion for authentic Italian cuisine before studying hospitality in London and building his career in Italy and the United States.
Today, he shares that passion through his restaurants in Palm Springs and Lake Arrowhead, where handmade pasta, fresh seafood, authentic cheeses and Neapolitan-style pizza showcase the bold, rustic flavors of Puglia. His cooking is traditional, but his personality is anything but ordinary.
Zito gained national attention as the winner of Food Network’s Chopped: Battle Italiano, earning the championship and a $25,000 prize. He has also been recognized as an Italian Champion of Pizza Napoletana, adding to an impressive list of culinary achievements.
More than a chef, Zito is an ambassador for his homeland—bringing Italian tradition, energy and a generous spirit to every table. From the desert to the mountains, his restaurants offer diners not just a meal, but a genuine taste of Puglia.

The Sandro de Bruno Winery, run by Sandro Tasoniero and his wife, Marina Ferraretto, was founded in 2002 with the goal of producing wines that best represent the terroir's vocation.
We are located in the Soave and Lessini Mountains area, between the municipalities of Montecchia di Crosara and Terrossa di Roncà, volcanic lands that are particularly suited to viticulture and offer spectacular views.
Passion, dedication, and respect for nature are the fundamental drivers that guide the work and the company's production processes.
The Sandro De Bruno Winery aims to offer a personal and simple concept of wine, drawing from the terroir all the unique qualities the vine can offer.
In the cellar, as in the vineyard, the utmost care and attention to product quality is guaranteed, resulting in wines that are long-lived and continually improving, capable of captivating over time

ALBERTO RIVETTI
I've decided to follow my dream, twisting time, rhythms and certitudes.
My passion for Vines and Grapes. I want to realize it in Valtellina, in Tirano. Wine is life and it is beautiful to see its colour, feel its perfume
and caress its taste. The vines governed in a balanced way, with respect for environment, the cellar at Torelli's Palace, an advanced production system to obtain wines more and more natural and loaded with tradition and innovation.
THE HISTORY OF A DREAM
"Rivetti & Lauro" comes out of an ambitious idea. The vineyards of Valtellina tell us centuries of history and tradition. They are the largest terraced wine-growing area in the Italian mountains. A place where it is produced Nebbiolo, a great vine for a wine of noble and extraordinary quality. We want to start from this tradition to introduce new growing techniques addressed to organic and biodynamic, in harmony with the mountain environment. We are growing new species of vine, whose fruit can meet the quality and generosity of Nebbiolo, exalting it. The great work in the yards make possible to build great wines.
"Rivetti & Lauro" only makes manual vintages, collecting the best grapes into boxes. We want to maintain the homogeneity of the product by considering its origin. After an accurate work of selection the grape is vinificated into small tanks and then refined into French oak barrels, tonneaux and bariques. In our wine it is possible to find the scent and characteristic of our territory.
"Rivetti & Lauro" has begun its adventure bottling wines with a strong character and full of modernity to tell our passion and the story of our land. Wines that comes from the DOCG areas of INFERNO, SASSELLA; VALGELLA and TIRANO. At dawn, the end of the winter, the first beat of wings. Our flight has started on.

CATIA DELL'ORCO
When everything has begun, I was following the commercial and communicative part as I was used to do in the previous firms. But here everything is different, running after a maniple of tireless dreamers and indefatigable workers. And the outcome is an incredible wine, that tells you emotions and absolute pleasures. It's wonderful working like this, with our daughters cheering for us.

OUR SPECIAL GUEST GEORGE TITA
Tanaro River Imports was founded by George Tita and a group of friends and family. George has led the effort of growing Tanaro from the original 3 producers in 2008 to nearly 40 at the start of 2026.
George holds a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University in Public Policy and has been on the faculty at the University of California, Irvine for the last 26 years. His research focus on violence reduction strategies and addressing the need for affordable housing.
Based in Irvine, Tanaro River Imports is drawn towards importing smaller family-owned estates that exemplify the ideals of responsible viticulture. Many of their producers go beyond the environmental practices we associate with sustainability (e.g., organic, biodynamic, regenerative agriculture) in order to make a broader social impact.
All of their producers share the belief that great wines are those that remain true to the characteristics of the grape and provide a sense of place. In other words, great wine is made in the vineyard, not in the cellar. As one of their producers likes to muse - "My job is take what nature has given us and not screw it up!"
