Childhelp exists to meet the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children.
Childhelp believes that every child has a unique contribution to make to the world, and deserves the best that they can provide. They believe unconditional love is the foundation on which all healing begins, and that is why they are dedicated to ensuring all children, families and communities live in safe, stable, supportive, and nurturing environments that are equitable, inclusive, and free of abuse and neglect.
Childhelp aims not only to address the immediate consequences of child abuse, but also to create a foundation for long-term healing and prevention. By breaking the cycle of abuse, Childhelp strives to empower children and families to lead healthier, more secure lives. Through Childhelp's various programs and services, they seek to break the cycle of child abuse and provide healing and hope to those who have experienced abuse.
Childhelp's Vision
Childhelp promotes evidence-based programs and services that enable advocacy, intervention, treatment and the prevention of child abuse. Their success relies on a nationwide network of staff and volunteers, to provide:
- Expertly trained and certified professionals delivering hope and healing to children and their families experiencing the trauma of child abuse, including bullying, cyber-bullying, and the trafficking of minors;
- An advocate at the national, state, and local level to ensure children, their families and their community receive the life-saving services they need to heal and grow;
- A community expert to help intervene and break the cycle of abuse for children and their families at home, at school, at work, and at play.
