Our Evening's Wines Hosted
and Proudly Represented by

Our evenings's Special Guest is Francesco Riviera, US Sales and Brand Manager for San Felice Agricola. Francesco been representing the San Felice wine brands throughout the United States as the North and South American Ambassador for Societa Agricola San Felice since 2013. He was born in Florence, Italy, and attended the University of Florence. Francesco travels extensively throughout Italy and North and South America cultivating the San Felice brand introducing Tuscan wines worldwide. Italy is the largest wine producing country in the world with an annual wine production of 4.7 million tons of which 8 million cases of wine are produced in Tuscany.

San Felice is a medieval Tuscan hamlet nestled among the hillsides of Chianti Classico near Siena and Montalcino. The Estate is today a prestigious winery led by creative, innovative talents who have made great wines since the beginning, including the first Super Tuscan ever made in Chianti Classico, Vigorello. 85% of San Felice’s 140 hectares are planted to Sangiovese, confirming the estate’s propensity for producing a Chianti Classico truly representative of the local terroir as Il Grigio Riserva and the two Gran Selezione Il Grigio and Poggio Rosso. In 1981 San Felice ventured into other production zones acquiring the Campogiovanni Estate in Montalcino, starting to produce a Brunello that within a few years was named among Wine Spectator’s “Top 100”, and more recently, in 2016, acquired six hectares in Bolgheri, establishing the Bell’Aja brand. The historic medieval hamlet surrounded by vineyards was ultimately transformed into a 5-star hotel that has been the only Relais & Châteaux resort in Chianti Classico since 1992. Today, San Felice boasts close to 1700 hectares in total, 180 of which are planted to vine for an average annual production of 1.2 million bottles of wine made entirely from estate fruit. San Felice also has two wine shops open year-round at the estates in Chianti Classico and Montalcino that welcome wine lovers from all over the world.
