OUR EVENING'S WINES HOSTED BY

OUR SPECIAL GUEST

DANTE RIBOLI COLOMBATTI

Dante Riboli Colombatti is a techie, digital marketing pioneer, and Marketing & Design Director at Riboli Family Wines of San Antonio Winery. As the 4th generation of the 108-year-old San Antonio Winery, L.A.’s largest and longest-producing winery, Dante Colombatti not only understands the importance of tradition but has carried on the family legacy by helping to catapult the iconic winery to the national stage.

Dante’s vision was instrumental in establishing the Stella Rosa brand as the #1 imported wine in the country and in developing its innovative, new flavors and award-winning aluminum can packaging. His creative energy spearheaded national marketing campaigns for the Riboli Family Wine Estate’s other award-winners, such as Maddalena, San Simeon, Opaque, San Antonio Cardinale, San Antonio Fruit Farms and Juicy Sparkle, as well as new Stella Rosa Brandy.

Acomplishments

In 2018, the popular wine media company Wine Enthusiast named Dante in their 40 under 40 for his trailblazing accomplishments to the wine industry. Never content with the status quo, the WSET 3 awarded marketing director has increased the winery’s online sales by 45% percent year over year, created their trendy artisan wine club, and initiated an online club designed for sweet wine lovers (www.SweetWineClub.com). Dante is also launching website this summer that encourages wine lovers to design personalized wine labels (www.personalizedwinelabels.com).

With an associate degree from the Art Institute in graphic and web design and a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Regis University, Dante founded two companies that provided event and media support for brands such as Levis, Belkin, Nixon, Lego, Jarritos, Fiat, and New Castle Brewing. In 2016 he sold both media houses to Beacon Media. (www.LACANVAS.com)( Foam Magazine). Dante is actively involved with technology and has developed two popular SaaS projects: the reservation platform called Booking It ( BookingIt.io) and the QR multi-link platforms called JoyQR (JoyQR.com )

Committed to Community

Dante’s dedication to the community and the environment motivated him to implement a million-dollar water treatment plant at the family’s new winery in Paso Robles. Being committed to expanding the company’s non-profit and charity presence, he’s currently participating in a program that provides clean water to needy people in third world countries (WinetoWater.org). He also serves on the board of the Han Schneider Children Foundation that helps provide food for children and orphans also in third world countries (www.hanschiederchildrens.org).

Personal Affinities

Starting from adolescence, Dante loved learning about the interests of people. That care for others is displayed in his desire to provide the best product or service to consumers regardless of socioeconomic background or cultural differences. He is on a steadfast mission to improving the world through his CPG or technology innovation and projects,

This Renaissance man speaks three languages (English, Italian, and Spanish), is an avid outdoor sportsman—on water or land—and will be participating in the Ironman Triathlon this winter. Since moving to beautiful Nashville, Tennessee, Dante somehow finds time for his other passions: riding his Indian motorcycle, riding in his Jeep with the top down in search of the next best coffee shop, reading marketing books, and—surprise—listening to country music.

ART VASQUEZ

Arthur Vasquez is the Riboli Family Wines Area Sales Manager/Supplier here in the Coachella Valley and the Desert Cities. With over 35 years as a chef, Arthur’s career took a turn when he moved to the Desert in 2001 to open and manage Babe's Bar-B-Que & Brewhouse in Rancho Mirage for Don Callender, the man behind Marie Callender's restaurants. During his 27 years working with Callender, Arthur earned more than 50 accolades, including seven nominations for Rancho Mirage Businessman of the Year.

In 2005, Arthur’s appreciation for fine wine grew as he curated wine lists and purchased wines for Babe’s. This passion for wine led him to open Persimmon Bistro & Wine Bar at the Palm Springs Art Museum in 2019. There, he served an impressive selection of wines from around the world, offering 18 wines by the glass. Persimmon quickly gained recognition, being named a "Hidden Gem" and appearing in notable publications such as Forbes, Palm Springs Life, and Locale Magazine.

At 55, Arthur made the bold decision to step away from the kitchen and transition into wine sales. Now with Riboli Wines, his sales territory spans from Salton Sea to Morongo and 29 Palms. In January 2025, his hard work and dedication were recognized when he was named Riboli’s "Sales Representative of the Year" for the Inland Empire.

Since we last were hosted by Riboli with Art he has been elevated to Area Sales Manager/Supplier with Riboli Family Wines.

At 57, Arthur enjoys hosting wine dinners and working closely with independent restaurants, sharing his knowledge and love of wine. Looking ahead, he hopes to relocate to California’s Central Coast in his early 60s and continue his career with Riboli Wines.

BENEFITS AND CELEBRATES

Alzheimers Coachella Valley, a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit, was formed to meet the needs of their families and focus on HOPE. All of ACV’s programs emphasize where the family is and work with what is still possible. Their families openly tell them what they need; they listen and then create innovative, relevant programs and services.

Programs and Services

At Alzheimers Coachella Valley, they focus on the PERSON with cognitive impairment and what is STILL POSSIBLE. Their philosophy is to assist the individual and family whether it is providing resources, up-to-date information, and very importantly, socialization. They believe that “life goes on,” and encourage both caregiver and loved one to tap into that and continue to live!

They provide ongoing programs and services that support all those affected, helping to build needed skills, learn to manage behaviors, and prepare for the future. Most programs involve both the caregiver and loved one.
