2:45-4:00 pm: Workforce. What’s in store for workforce trends and challenges? What are creative ways to recruit and retain workers? Learn more from Catrice O’Neal, Ramsey County Workforce Solutions

The Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center has been in existence for 61 years—helping to change the lives of youth who want to learn a trade and get a good job. In many cases the students come to Job Corps to not only learn a trade—but get their GED and/or Driver’s License or because they could not afford to go to college. We provide free housing, 3 meals a day, free healthcare and of course the ability to obtain a GED and/or a Driver’s License at no cost to the student!

Job Corps has a few upcoming events that we would like the community to be aware of:

• We have our Second Annual Interview Boot Camp on April 24, 2025 from 9 AM until noon. Our students need help desperately learning how to interview with a stranger! If you would like to participate as an interviewer, please contact Kaila Broad at broad.kaila@jobcorps.org or by phone at 651-444-1828. We provide the questions and each student gets 8 minutes for each interview. Our Culinary students provide muffins, coffee, tea, juice and water. 
• May 9, 2025 we have our Job Fair/Open House at Job Corps. If you would like any information about this, please email Nayman-Tonn.Virginia@jobcorps.org. 
• May 22, 2025 is our SPRING GRADUATION!!!!!!!
