Join the SEAMASS Young Members Group on Tuesday, November 5 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. for this FREE (with RSVP) Site Tour of 585 Kendall.


EVENT OVERVIEW:

Located in Cambridge's flourishing Kendall Square, 585 Kendall is the newest life sciences building to be added to the neighborhood. The 16-story building will include life sciences research space, offices, and a public arts and culture space across the three bottom floors.


A super-hybrid building where science and art converge, 585 Kendall brings nature, performance, music, community, and life sciences together in the heart of Kendall Square. The 600,000 SF development consists of a one-acre, indoor/outdoor park on the first floor followed by a 30,000 SF performing arts center with a 400-seat theater on the second and third floors. The remainder of the tower includes 500,000 SF of life science and office space, leased entirely by Takeda.

RSVP now as space is limited. All SEAMASS members, particularly YMG members, as well as young structural engineers and architects, are welcome to participate.


Participants must bring their PPE (Hard hat, vest, boots, eye protection). 

The site visit waiver and meeting location will be emailed to all registrants.
