NC Pork invites you to an update on what's happening in North Carolina's pork industry

Please RSVP for the Allied Industry Luncheon and Update on March 1, at the Hilton Raleigh North Hills. This program is free and open to all those who provide support services and goods to our industry.

We’ll provide an update on what’s happening within the industry in North Carolina, where we're focusing our efforts in the future, and what we think the next challenges to the industry may be. We’ll start the update at 11 a.m. and lunch will follow.

This is the kickoff to the NC Pork Annual Conference, which is March 1 & 2 at the Hilton Raleigh North Hills. We hope you will stay and take part in that as well. Registration is free, but the awards luncheon on the 2nd is $20. If you've been around the NC Pork Council for any time, you know that one of the highlights of the conference is the annual Bacon Bash on March 1. This is a members-only fundraiser for the NC Pork Council Political Action Committee. If you are a member, watch your inbox for more information. (If you aren't a member of the NC Pork Council, we encourage you to take a few moments to sign up. Our membership is free to anyone involved in the industry.)

Sponsorship opportunities are still available

A sponsorship of the Annual Conference helps offset the costs associated with the largest annual gathering of the people who work in NC’s pork industry.

Conference Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorships range $350 - $1,000

  • Thursday snack break
  • Breakout rooms (2 avail)
  • Coffee & drink station
  • Registration desk
  • Student sponsor

Bacon Bash sponsorship opportunities

Sponsorships range $100 - $1,000

  • Food Station sponsor
  • Signature Drink sponsor
  • Photo booth sponsor
  • Silent Auction item donor

All Bacon Bash sponsorships help us raise money for the NC Pork Council PAC and allow us to support legislators who share our vision of the future for the pork industry in North Carolina. Sponsorships benefit the NC Pork Council and help us offset costs. This is the ONLY way that corporate funds can be spent on our PAC events by federal law.

If you're interested in sponsoring, click on the links above. If you have an idea for a sponsorship but it isn't on this list, we’ll try to make it work.

Other NC Pork events on the horizon

The NC Barbecue Summit is Feb. 11 at the Lenoir County Cooperative Extension Center.

This is your chance to learn all about the ins and outs of competing against the best whole hog cooks in the state.

Participants in this year's Summit will also get to be People's Choice judges for the State Championship, which was postponed due to a tropical storm last fall.

All of this fun, fellowship and food is only $20.
