MOH'S MESSAGE

AI in Education?
You might have noticed that we look a little different this week. The portraits were created from an artificial intelligence artist named “AI Gahaku” that generates a masterpiece from your photo. You can use their website or the app. Try and see yourself differently, and feel free to share yours on our CITL Padlet.
Speaking of AI, check out other AI art tools and share your wonders at our CITL Padlet. Some of my favorites are AutoDraw, Quick Draw!, LipSync, MuseNet, and Things-Translator. We shall discuss the pros & cons, instructional uses, and etc. A takeaway message is that AI is here, and we need to have a clearer understanding of it.
NOTE: Faculty can now schedule Yun directly for help and support; contact him via email or message him in MS Teams.

Honoring Dr. King

Next Monday we celebrate Martin Luther King Day; there are no classes. This year in particular, this day is something to note.

Creating an announcement in your Canvas course is one way to demonstrate your inclusive stance and add context to the day off.

Here is a Padlet with a sample announcement and some teaching material for you to use; Feel free to add your own ideas: Honoring Dr. King
