A Message from Rabbi

Dear RTFH Family,

In a world full of challenges, we have to highlight our blessings. Every year, many of the Houses of Worship in Forest Hills come together for a celebration of music and hope at our annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service.

This year, RTFH is honored to be the host for the event. Join us in the Sanctuary on Sunday, November 23 at 4:00pm as our own rabbi, cantor, and choirs join with the clergy and musicians from our neighbors in recognition of community and partnership.

A social gathering will follow (thanks to our amazing Women’s Connection). Please bring non-perishable food donations to help those who are hungry around us.

Veterans Day and Kristallnacht

Find strength, spirituality, and community at Shabbat Services.

At this service, we will recognize and reflect on Kristallnacht and Veterans Day.

We invite all those currently serving or who are veterans of American or Israeli Forces to be recognized at Shabbat Services this Friday night.

Tess Kingsley is celebrating her Bat Mitzvah!

Tess's Mitzvah Project:

For her mitzvah project, Tess Kingsley invites you to donate bedding to help dogs. "I am collecting old sheets and blankets that people do not use anymore and donating them to a dog shelter. When the dogs first arrive at the shelter, they do not have anything in their crate, so anything can make it a lot more cozy,” says Tess.

Look for the donation box in the Temple Upper Lobby.
