Dear RTFH Family,
There is much to trouble us in our lives and our world. We work to bring healing and compassion to those around us. But Judaism also calls for us to focus on what we are thankful for. As Thanksgiving approaches, we share in one of our community's blessings.
Every year, the clergy at many of the churches and synagogues in Forest Hills collaborate to create an Interfaith Thanksgiving Service. In a climate of divisiveness, this service promotes connection and cooperation. Join Cantor Pincus, our Adult and Junior choirs, and me this Sunday, November 24, at 4:00pm at the Church-in-the-Gardens Community House (15 Borage Place) for a time of reflection, gratitude, and hope.
L'shalom,
Rabbi Mark
