Dear RTFH Family,

The only summer major observance in Judaism is the commemoration of Tisha B’Av next Tuesday. This date is a powerful reminder of the many tragedies that have befallen in the Jewish people throughout our history. We must never forget the past and the much too precarious world we still live in.

But we need not only look at the pain. Our faith is full of hope and possibility. This Friday, we bring that energy to an earlier than usual service held outdoors in our Temple’s backyard. Weather permitting, we will share in the wonder of the outside world with our prayers for a better tomorrow under God’s glistening sky.

We hope you’ll join us at 6:15 PM for this service for all ages and for a community always remembering the past but striving for the best in tomorrow.

Join us in the backyard of Temple for an outdoor Shabbat service on Friday, August 9 at 6:15pm. If weather is not permitting, we will move the services into the sanctuary.

Birthday Connection

Acknowledge someone's special day by sponsoring a birthday greeting! 

 Each month, a list of Temple members celebrating birthdays is posted to the RTFH Birthday Connection. Simply click on the link, create or login to your Member's Account, and fill out the online form. Women's Connection will send that person a personalized Happy Birthday greeting to everyone who donated in their honor. At only $1 per greeting, Birthday Connection is an easy way to manage a monthly mitzvah for everyone on your list! 

Hard copies of Birthday Connection lists with instructions are available in plastic hanging bins in the lobby of the temple near the coat room. There are also printable versions of the lists attached below.
