Dear RTFH Family,

The Jewish New Year will soon be here, and RTFH is buzzing with activities in every area. It is easy to miss out on some things, so I want to highlight a couple while I have your attention. It is vital we find ways to stay safe and connected, now more than ever.

USHERS – Ushers for the High Holy Days are an essential part of a safe and welcoming congregation. We need teens and adults to help usher at our services, including our children’s services. If you are able to help usher, please sign up at this link. Thanks for helping make our community stronger!

COLLEGE CONNECTION – When students head off to college, they still need their congregation to support and connect with them. A group of dedicated parents and our own WoCo provide outreach to them throughout the years. Sign up your college student TODAY! (High Holy Day package is going out next week).

Look for more programs and connections in this eblast. And watch for a special Rosh Hashanah eblast tomorrow!

L’shalom,

Rabbi Mark

Nora's Mitzvah Project

Due to my injury last spring, I spent some time in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). During my stay, I was cared for by many doctors and nurses, who helped me recover. The health providers’ kindness and love resulted in my healing, so I dedicated my bat mitzvah project in their honor. I created a website for donations and successfully raised over $3,000 to help the hospital care for more children in need of medical assistance.
