On September 23, 2024, the Lawrence Partnership hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Revolving Test Kitchen (RTK), a vital hub for culinary entrepreneurs. The upgraded space now offers expanded kitchen facilities, enhanced equipment, and additional pop-up stations, thanks to a generous grant from MassDevelopment. These improvements aim to support local food businesses and boost the Lawrence economy.

Local officials, business owners, and community leaders gathered to celebrate the enhancements, which aim to provide more resources and support for emerging food businesses. Attendees enjoyed samples from RTK members, including Deli More, Marola’s Catering, Taintine Mime’s Gourmet, and Farine Artisanal French Bread.

"The Revolving Test Kitchen is where dreams turn into businesses," said George Ramirez, Executive Director of the Lawrence Partnership. "This renovation allows more entrepreneurs to access the tools they need to succeed."

The RTK, launched in 2016, has already helped several local businesses thrive, including CocoRay’s Borinquen Taqueria and Jessy’s Place Cafe, by providing affordable kitchen space and business support.
