RTMC November Newsletter
She Builds in the Fall!
Hunton Kurth Andrews, JLL, Gensler & HITT came together to work on a
woman-led home in Rockville, MD on November 8, 2019.

Despite the cold weather, these brave volunteers quickly got to work inside and out, by cleaning yard debris, repairing exterior steps, installing new light fixtures, cleaning out the inside of her home and painting. The homeowner was very thankful for the work that was completed by the end of the day.

RTMC thanks each and every volunteer who took the time out to work on this home.

#GivingTuesday
#GivingTuesday will be on December 3rd this year! It is a chance for all of us to make a difference in the lives of others less fortunate than ourselves. Our gifts can help families overcome the burden of choosing between putting food on the table or repairing a leak in the roof; helps our elder neighbors safely age in place;  it helps our veterans feel at home again; and most importantly, it helps all of our low-income homeowners stay in their homes and live in a safe and healthy space.

Please consider either a one-time gift to RTMC on  #GivingTuesday, or a recurring gift! Recurring gifts are instrumental in helping people stay in their homes in much safer and healthier conditions. You can easily set up a monthly or quarterly donation through our secure online giving platform. It has a smaller impact on your wallet each month, but a more substantial, sustaining impact for the families we serve.

To set up your recurring gift and become a Foundation Builder, or to make a one-time donation, please click here .

RTMC's Upcoming Spring Events
National Rebuilding Month
April is National Rebuilding Month for all Rebuilding Together Affiliates across the country. This year, in celebration of our 30th anniversary, RTMC has set a goal to complete 30 projects during the month of April. The last weekend of the month is when most of the work will happen but specifically, on April 25, 2020. On this weekend, 400+ volunteers from businesses, faith-based organizations, and leadership groups will come together to complete home repair projects that will uplift our local neighborhoods and create sustainable housing solutions for our county's most vulnerable residents. Once again, we are looking to complete 30 projects for our 30th anniversary. Help us make this happen!

RTMC is able to accommodate groups of all different skill sets! If you are willing to get dirty and make a difference in the community, then we invite you to join the initiative and register today.
