Congratulations to Rowland Unified School District Employees of the Year

Tables were elegantly decorated with help from our own Building Services Department (shout out to Chris Ferraro and Danny Romo for making our wood slices and for Brandi Chapman, visionary decor artist extraordinare!)

Just like Prom! Employees of the Year (EOY) were given a corsage or boutonniere and had fun taking photos as they arrived.

The Board of Education recognized classified and certificated employees of the year from each site (shown Melissa Bladh, Certificated EOY from Giano and Donte Robertson, Classified EOY from Hollingworth).

The evening's entertainment was the Rowland High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Brandon Harris.

RUSD stars were bright last night as the Rowland Unified School District 2019-20 Classified and Certificated Employees of the Year were recognized by the Board of Education and celebrated for their efforts. The District Employees of the Year were also highlighted and videos of each can be viewed below.

Classified Employee of the Year Alfonso Iniguez, School Bus Driver from Transportation; Certificated Employee of the Year Dolores Gonzalez, Hurley Elementary Teacher; and Administrator of the Year, Dr. George Herrera, Principal of Villacorta Elementary.
