(1) Offered here are issue nos. 1-42 from 1917 (the last year of publication), a consecutive run from January 1 through October 29. Iskry was an illustrated weekly magazine (newspaper format, eight pages) distributed as a supplement to the newspaper "Russkoe Slovo" published in Moscow. Iskry contained a large amount of illustrative material (mostly photographs) depicting events of those years, including pen portraits and documentary accounts of military battles, festivities and other news. $3,500.

Published from 1934-37, 33 numbers in 32 issues, this rare journal was dedicated to collective farming and agricultural and was published only in Russian in the best photomontage style of "USSR in Construction". 10-1/2"x 14-1/2".
