In our continuing effort to make our website even more user friendly, this year we will be putting more focus on geography using our regional color-coding and a new map that we will be launching soon.

The Houston RV Show runs Wednesday, February 6 through Sunday, February 10, 2019. We'll be at the show from Noon until 7pm on Wednesday, February 6th. Over the past couple of months, we have thought long and hard about how and where to begin our full-time RV life on the road. I can't tell you how many times we changed our minds. When the Father of Texas, Stephen F Austin, brought the initial "Old 300" settlers to Texas to colonize under a contract with the Mexican government, he selected San Felipe de Austin as the capital of his colony. Maintenance On Texas State Park Reservations System Continues
As this Newsletter is published, the Reservation System for Texas Parks and Wildlife remains closed due to the big update we've all been waiting for. When it is activated, the new system will allow folks to select a specific campsite when making reservations. The park rangers we have spoken with are not sure when the new system will be live.
