Hey y\'all!
First of all... Happy Mother's Day! As we write this newsletter (from a public library) :), we are excited to see our Moms and Tom's Dad later today before we take off on a 2 month roadtrip. So we'll be celebrating Mother's Day and Father's Day a little early this year, but we always enjoy spending time with our family. We hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!
Texas and other parts of the country are being hammered by a lot of rain this week! We've included links to the Park Closure and Alerts Lists for both Texas State Parks and Corps of Engineer Parks in Texas in the RV, Camping and Outdoor News section of this newsletter. The weather has already impacted part of our travel plans, but we can go to plan B for that. The most important thing is that everybody stay safe out there as the May rains pass through.
