1. Local Presence - Does your site show for Google Local? Look in the right had column of a search for your business + your city / town location.
2. Page Titles & Descriptions - Are your page titles & descriptions unique for each page?
3. Alternate / ALT Text - Alternative text provides a description of each image on a website. This is used by visually impaired website visitors and search engines.
4. Backlinks - When another website links to yours, this is called a backlink. Websites with more relevant backlinks tend to appear higher in search results.
