Google Analytics Bugs
As you are aware, Google Analytics is a wonderful tool to keep track of your site statistics, including the number of visitors to your site, how many of these convert with a form or a site purchase, which pages get the most traffic, your site bounce rate and many other stats. It is a valuable tool, but it is not perfect!

Google Analytics went through a significant change back in early 2023. It is now Called GA4 ( Google Analytics version 4) and can be useful in web and app metrics. All RWD clients have been set up with GA4 accounts. The older version is called Universal Analytics and has been slowly fading out by Google since July 2023.
This is where the problem shows up!

Some of my clients still have statistics being recorded BOTH in the old Universal Analytics AND the new GA4. That is OK, but wouldn't you think that the stats in BOTH tools would be EXACTLY the same? They are NOT and some statistics are WAY OFF!

This is simply a heads-up, so don't be alarmed by some of your metrics. If some of your numbers are wildly UP or DOWN, don't worry; I will keep track of these and report to you in your Monthly Reports!
