President's Message - Sue Davis

End-of-Year Tribute to the Extraordinary Women of RWOP

As we bring another year to a close, my heart is full as I reflect on the remarkable women whose leadership, dedication, and deeply held values make RWOP such a truly special organization. And before anything else, I want to pause and offer heartfelt thanks for the love of God—His direction, His grace, and His abundant mercy that have carried us, covered us, and steadied our steps throughout this entire year. His faithfulness has been our anchor.

People often ask what sets RWOP apart. Is it our shared conservative principles? Our

sponsorship of Honor Flights for deserving veterans? Our scholarships for bright, articulate young Republicans? Or perhaps the continuous stream of exceptional speakers—judges, legislators, county and city leaders—who keep us informed, engaged, and ahead of the curve?

All of these things matter.

But the true strength of RWOP is something deeper… something lived, not spoken.

This year marks roughly 83 years of RWOP leadership, and during that time our nation

has experienced profound shifts—changes in education, border enforcement, trade, media accountability, federal funding priorities, and the political posture of the opposing party. Whether on campus, at the border, or around international tables, these changes

have touched every corner of our country.

But leadership isn’t defined only by policy.

Leadership is heart. Leadership is unity. Leadership is commitment.

We often ask: Is it better to be feared or loved?

Well—our Democrat lawmakers should fear us at the ballot box. This coming year in

Arizona will be a fight as we work to unseat incumbents and reclaim the governorship,

attorney general, and the newly created lieutenant governor seats.

But our Republican candidates deserve our love—our time, our talent, and our support. And once the primaries are behind us, we must stand shoulder to shoulder with our Republican nominees. Division is a luxury we cannot afford. We are stronger together.

As we look toward the year ahead, I want to lift-up and celebrate the extraordinary

women of RWOP—women who lead with integrity, clarity, compassion, and unwavering

purpose. You remind us every day that leadership is not just about achieving results but

about raising others as you rise. Your resilience, teamwork, and vision are the reason

this organization continues to thrive.

From where I stand, it is all of the above…

…but at the heart of everything we do are our busy, hard-working, and deeply committed volunteers.

When I look at the heart and commitment of our RWOP leadership, I am genuinely moved. At the center of our organization beats the hearts of volunteer patriots—women who show up not for applause, but out of love for their country, devotion to principle, and a desire to serve something greater than themselves. RWOP thrives because of the generous, steady, faithful hearts of our volunteers.

In many ways, their perseverance reflects the same determination that Donald J. Trump

has shown on the national stage. Just as he has faced adversity with remarkable resolve, RWOP’s leadership continues to rise to every challenge with resilience and an unshakable belief in the values they serve. Their steadiness, like his, is rooted in deep conviction—and in a genuine love of Republican values, our country, and our freedom.

RWOP’s leaders show, day after day, what it means to lead with courage and heart. They carry responsibilities big and small, navigate challenges both seen and unseen, and do it all with grace, clarity, and unwavering determination. There is a quiet fierceness in the way they work—organizing, guiding, encouraging, and lifting up our membership with devotion that never wavers.

What stands out most—and what I admire so deeply—is the heart behind their service.

The willingness to keep going when it’s hard.

The focus to stay steady when politics are noisy and ugly.

The courage to lead when the path climbs steeply.

RWOP’s leaders embody that kind of strength beautifully, faithfully, and gracefully.

And of course, none of this work happens in isolation.

Our strength as leaders exists because of you—our membership.

You keep us sharp.

You keep us striving.

You challenge us, support us, and inspire us to bring our best every single day.

Your engagement, your expectations, and your unwavering presence push us to rise to

every moment.

Most of all, thank you for entrusting us with your confidence.

That trust is the greatest honor we hold. It fuels our dedication, strengthens our unity, and reminds us why RWOP continues to flourish year after year.

The heart of RWOP is its people—leaders and members alike—bound together by shared values, shared purpose, and a shared belief that together we can face any challenge. That, more than anything, is what makes this organization extraordinary.

Now it’s time to enjoy our December luncheon—a joyful mix of good food, good fun, and

a little well-deserved retail therapy. No business— just fellowship, gratitude, and

celebration of our remarkable membership.

Doors open at 9 AM.

See you then!

With heartfelt gratitude, steadfast faith, and hope for all that lies ahead.

Sue

With heartfelt thanks and deep admiration for our Executive Committee and

Board of Directors — your leadership and devotion make all the difference.

Legislation - Susan Cohen

While President Trump and his Cabinet are tirelessly cleaning up the illegal immigration

mess left behind by the last administration, Making America Safe Again has been the

resounding pledge since well before the election of Donald J. Trump a year ago. With

his team in place, Secretary Noem and White House Border Czar Homan are making a

good dent to clean up America’s major cities.

Unfortunately, remnants of terrorism have recently preyed upon our country, taking the life of one very brave soldier, US Army Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, right in our nation’s capital. We now pray for the full recovery of US Air Force Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe, ambushed by that same terrorist living illegally in the US since 2021. Action, not tiptoeing, must be swift to bring this suspect to justice for capital murder. He is from Afghanistan and is known to have helped our military during the War on Terror. Since the failed 2021 pullout of our troops in Afghanistan, with 13 dead servicemen and - women, the entire country is now run by the Taliban.

Trump posted on Truth Social: "I will permanently pause migration from all Third World

Countries to allow the US system to fully recover"; Biden-era green card approvals are

now all being scrutinized, while there is a full-on ban of immigrants previously allowed

from 19 third world countries. This is a long overdue review of our immigration policies,

and it must begin with our leadership. It is important to ensure that Republicans maintain their majority in the House and Senate. These policies must become law if we are going to protect our sovereignty.

We pray that those who come to our country can somehow find a way to assimilate to the West’s culture. Sadly, these immigrants use our US Constitution to misconstrue their plight and victimhood. Please visit https://www.actforamerica.org/ to stay current on issues of national security. And always remember: See something, say something.

The 19 countries banned from immigrants coming to the United States:

1. Afghanistan 2. Burma (Myanmar) 3. Burundi 4.Chad 5. Cuba 6. Republic of the Congo

7. Equatorial Guinea 8. Eritrea 9. Haiti 10. Iran 11. Laos 12. Libya 13. Sierra Leone

14. Somalia 15. Sudan 16. Togo 17. Turkmenistan 18. Venezuela 19. Yemen
