President's Message - Sue Davis
| |
WOW!
In case you missed it, an epic shift in America, a tectonic shift in the world, is happening right before your eyes!
If you think the last ten days have been incredible, just wait…the coal isn’t even burning.
#47 isn’t a quarterback or a football coach. He’s not a team owner or even the commissioner. This man is a master of the game.
Donald Trump was sworn in, along with his grocery list of flaws, to wield the full economic and military force and power of the United States.
Let’s bask in the glow of leadership returning to the Oval Office.
DEI departments dropping like Billy Ray Cyrus record sales.
Traffic jams at US-Mexico ports of entry…southbound! And new deportation training flight opportunities for USAF pilots!
| |
And in the spirit of the Carter-Reagan transition, we have Hamas finally releasing Israeli hostages. Even dictator for life Vladimir Putin says the Ukraine war could have been averted if DJT was in office, and Vlad is now “ready for negotiations." Speaking of taxes, how about The Donald’s suggestion of using Biden’s 90,000 new IRS agents for border enforcement; brilliant repurposing!
More success…. repeal and cancellation of EV mandates, reopening/rehiring Americans at the mothballed Jeep plant in Belvidere…credit goes to DJT!
Stellantis reverses plans, will reopen Belvidere Assembly plant
Let’s talk about peace. That’s super important. Israel, Lebanon, Ukraine.
Here’s your high-level briefing… 10 Conflicts to Watch in 2025
When was the last time you read or heard a media update on the American hostages held by Hamas? Yep, you can’t remember. Meet the Seven American Hostages still held by Hamas
Not taking your Colombian criminals back? Trump's terms were loud and clear, isn’t that right, President Petro?
| |
Strong leadership by President Trump will put interests of American citizens first. No ambiguity, just rapid consequences for unacceptable terms.
Since January 20th, each headline is a wish come true. Let’s keep the momentum going and support one of the greatest presidents in history. Step up this year and do your part volunteering in our community to strengthen Republican values and support our local leaders, and our President.
From the party of merit and character, please pray that we are at the beginning of a course correction in our country (and world) for peace and prosperity. Pray for our country, give forgiveness, and pray for our enemies and their hearts to soften. God is in charge and He rules over all nations.
This fragile ship we call our Republic needs civic involvement. You and I are the only ones standing in the way of its demise. Engage. Speak up. Fight, fight, fight!
RWOP members are the absolute best, and I am grateful for each of you. Cheers, blessings and Happy Valentine’s Day!
Sue Davis
PS. Let’s recognize and congratulate Gina Swoboda, Arizona’s newly elected GOP Chair!
| |
Gina was recently elected as Chairwoman of the Arizona Republican Party. Gina stepped up to the plate at the request of Donald J. Trump when the former Chair stepped down midterm. President Trump made an excellent choice and endorsement. We hope to have Gina visit RWOP in the very near the future!

Caring For America - Nancy Grigas
Our charity of the month for February is a true favorite of RWOP members: Honor Flight Arizona. The mission of this organization is to pay homage to our WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War veterans who served in the Armed Forces. They do this by providing a FREE 3-day trip to Washington DC so the vets can visit the memorials built in honor of them. One Honor flight Guardian said his trip was “one of the top 5 most memorable experiences in his life and military career.” These sentiments are echoed by most vets who have visited their memorials.
Last year we sent twelve Prescott veterans to Washington, and we would love to send more this year. In addition to the DC trips, Honor Flight also educates our youth about the impact of the various wars we have endured, and the freedoms Americans enjoy because of the sacrifices of our veterans.
Please be generous with your donations so that we can send even more deserving veterans on this humbling yet satisfying journey. Stop by the Caring for America booth in the lobby for more information on how you can help.

Community Outreach - Jody Allione
At the January luncheon, one of the Caring for America featured speakers was Missy Sikora, Director of the Yavapai Family Advocacy Center (YFAC), which is a program of Prevent Child Abuse Arizona (PCA Az) serving all Yavapai County. Last year over 100 women who were sexually assaulted and over 400 children who were abused or neglected had the opportunity to obtain a variety of crisis services in one location in Prescott Valley, with all agencies working together in the best interest of the victim. At YFAC the victim may receive a forensic interview, a sexual exam (SANE), speak with an advocate and the DA’s office plus so much more.
RWOP’s Community Outreach team is collecting items to support these individuals who are in a traumatized state when they are brought to the center following their crime report. All items must be new. We are asking for any of the items listed below:
- A variety of adult sizes of sweats with a Zip-up jacket
- Sports bras, underpants, and socks.
- Hard Bottom slippers that a person could wear as shoes outside.
- Toiletries (hotel size): shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste and comb.
- Small to medium stuffed animals.
- Gift cards to stores such as Amazon, Target, Fry’s and Walmart for YFAC to purchase items as needed.
- Gift cards given to victims for gas (Fry’s) and fast-food restaurants.
- Straight Talk phone data card – can be purchased at Walmart.
Please drop off items at the February or March RWOP luncheon meeting. Thank you for your generosity.
