Help us Welcome Bishop Michael Sis to Nov. 11 Gala!

Join us in welcoming Bishop Michael Sis back to Austin as he keynotes our Life is Beautiful Gala on Friday, November 11 at Hyatt Regency Austin. This is Bishop Sis' first official visit back to Austin and we want to be sure that he is greeted with lots of familiar faces! We'll also be honoring David Daleiden, who exposed Planned Parenthood's selling of baby parts, with our Dignity in Life Award. Receptions and registration begins at 5:45 pm and the program begins at 7 pm. We will have an "After Party" immediately following the program until 10 pm (ages 21 and up, please). Last year's dinner sold out with 830 guests - don't miss out this year!
Medical Director Jeremy Kalamarides, D.O. has cared for 4,000+ patients since 2010!
Nominated as "Austin's Best" in Three Categories!

St. JPII Life Center and Vitae Clinic has been nominated for THREE 2016 Austin Birth Awards: 1) Best OB-GYN: Dr. Jeremy Kalamarides 2) Best Birth Doula: Christine Mesich, and 3) Best Childbirth Class: St. John Paul II Life Center / Christine Mesich.  The Austin Birth Awards is hosted each year by the Central Texas Breastfeeding Coalition. Nearly 2,000 nominations were submitted in August. Voting took place last month on the top 4 nominees in each category and winners will be announced at the Awards Gala and Reception on October 14 at the Carver Museum and Cultural Center. The winners will be listed and remain on the Austin Birth Awards website for the next year as a resource for new families with links to those providers and contributors. Congratulations to Christine Mesich and Dr. Jeremy Kalamarides! We are so proud of you and the care you provide our patients and clients!

It was standing room only when Bishop Danny Garcia celebrated Mass in the

St. JPII Chapel with us last month.

Honored to have Bishop Danny Garcia Celebrate Mass

We love it when our priests celebrate Mass here, and we were especially honored to have Bishop Danny Garcia in September!  Our little chapel was filled as we lifted up prayers for our clients, patients, and supporters. We want to surround our Center with prayer, so please join us for Mass, the Rosary, or the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Click here to see our calendar of events.

Circle of Life Members Learn Secrets of Iconography

If you are a parishioner at St. John Neumann, you probably know who Deacon Bill Quick is. But did you know that he is a gifted iconographer? In September, Circle of Life members were treated to an invitation-only event at St. Michael's Catholic Academy and learned about the history and prayerful practice of creating Icons. Since opening our doors in 2010, we have helped 500+ women embrace LIFE! Less than 3% have confirmed abortions.
Client uses Sonogram to Overcome Fear in Telling Parents about Pregnancy

Rachel was terrified at the idea of having a baby. She was nineteen, unmarried and in school. Afraid to tell her parents, she confided in a close relative who advised her to get an abortion. However, when Rachel arrived at Planned Parenthood, she noticed the mood in the building was "eerie." When she heard her child's heartbeat on the sonogram, she asked about fetal development and didn't get any answers. She didn't go through with the abortion and instead came to St. JPII Life Center, where she noted the loving atmosphere in contrast to the abortion facility.  During her sonogram, she received answers to her questions - and even a photo of her unborn child. She used that photo to overcome her fear of telling her parents. She delivered Ramona in March and is now a graduate of cosmetology school.

We are in great need of client advocates to serve our growing number of clients. Please contact Sandra at 512-407-2900 to learn how you can help women like Rachel embrace positive choices!
