Announces Formation of New Advisory Committee

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY: The Racing and Gaming Conference at Saratoga (RGCS) is pleased to announce the establishment of its new Advisory Committee, bringing together a distinguished group of industry leaders who will help guide program development, strengthen engagement, and elevate the conference’s impact across the racing and gaming sectors.

The Advisory Committee will play a key role in shaping the 2026 conference by suggesting panel topics, identifying moderators and panelists, introducing speakers during conference sessions, supporting RGCS fundraising efforts, and promoting the conference across media and professional networks.

2026 Advisory Committee include:

• Josh Oppenheimer – Shareholder, Greenberg Traurig
• Michele Fischer – Vice President, SIS Ltd
• Chris Wittstruck – Equine Attorney, Standardbred Owners Association of New York
• Brad Fischer – Of Counsel, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP

Patrick Brown, RGCS Co-Executive Director and Conference Founder, emphasized the importance of this new committee in advancing the conference’s mission. “The creation of this Advisory Committee marks an important step forward for RGCS. These individuals bring deep expertise, diverse perspectives, and a shared commitment to strengthening the dialogue around racing and gaming policy. Their guidance will help us deliver the most substantive and engaging program yet.”

Brown added, “Building on five years of proven success and not forgetting our founders at the Albany Law School Racing and Wagering Institute, the Advisory Board will partner with conference leadership to secure and expand its impact for decades ahead.”

The sixth annual Racing and Gaming Conference at Saratoga will take place August 10-12, 2026, at the Saratoga Hilton, coinciding once again with the iconic summer Thoroughbred racing season at Saratoga Race Course.
