Three researchers from the department of radiology; Mohammed Salman Shazeeb, PhD, Anna Luisa Kühn, MD, PhD, Clifford Lindsay, PhD, along with three other faculty from two departments were awarded a PACE Prize of $170,000 for their project: A Novel Approach to Predict Intercranial Aneurysm Rupture by Combining Brain Imaging and Gut Microbiome Biomarkers Through Artificial Intelligence.

Dr. Alex Newbury, 3rd year radiology resident was inducted into the T.H. Chan School of Medicine chapter of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society on October 4, 2022. Dr. Newbury was one of eleven house staff members inducted this year.

Radiology department chair, Max Rosen hosted the residents to a night at a Worcester Red Sox (WooSox) game in August. The WooSox are the Triple-A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. The WooSox beat the Durham Bulls 12-0. The baseball game is an annual event for radiology residents and Max!

This one-day leadership conference held at the DCU Center brings together women leaders from the central Massachusetts business community for the purposes of networking and professional development.
