This year the 13th annual National Day of Repentance in the USA will take place on Monday, April 21, 2025, the same day, hours earlier, a National Day of Repentance will have been observed in all of Australia! The verses for His Gift of Repentance are bearing fruit!
2 Chronicles 7:14, Jonah 3:10; Joel 2:15; Hosea 6:1-3; Daniel 9:3-19; Nehemiah 1:6, Ezra 10:1, and others speak to the need for personal and national repentance before revival.
This year's Scripture is Jeremiah 4:1-3: " If you will return, O Israel, 'says the LORD, 'Return to Me; And if you will put away your abominations out of My sight, Then you shall not be moved. And you shall swear, the LORD lives.' In truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; THE NATIONS SHALL BLESS THEMSELVES IN HIM, AND IN HIM THEY SHALL GLORY. For thus says the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem: Break up your fallow ground, And do not sow among thorns. Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, And take away the foreskins of your hearts, you men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, Lest My fury come forth like fire, and burn so that no one can quench it, because of the evil of your doings."

During these National Days of Repentance on Monday, April 21, the very first and most essential act is to praise Him and then spend time alone with the Lord. Be still and know that He is LORD. (Psalm 46:10). Listen to Him. In His timing, then ask Him what old sin pattern blocks your full intimacy with Him. You can then choose to confess that sin and go even further to repent of the entire pattern, beginning with its false roots, planted by the enemy perhaps when you were a child.
You and I were born for such a time as this. We are to be "radicals for Christ in our time" as mentioned in a recent email from our sister in Christ, Kathleen Mitchell. Here are some of her comments following her trip to the United Kingdom:
My heart is for the Kingdom, and my love is for the British people. There is hope in the UK, and it is growing. Radical change will appear, following some necessary shaking and turmoil; which will come from the hand of the Lord, to sort out the corruption and rebellion. In the end, it will be good. If it’s not good, it’s not the end. I’m claiming that the United Kingdom, will become the Kingdom United in the Truth of YHVH.
Almost always, my messages are received happily, and given credibility, confirmed by the Holy Spirit. But occasionally, when presented with something new … or when hearing a new perspective on a biblical text … there are some believers, who tend to put up a road block against any deeper revelation from what they understand and believe. It’s sad to see that some believers put more stock in satan’s power to deceive them, than they trust the Lord’s ability to lead them in the way of all truth. Sadly, that resistance to dig deeper into the Lord, and into His desire to give us more of Him, is seen in the Body throughout the world. That hesitancy to move more deeply into the dynamic power of the Lord, for Him to bring unfolding revelation in these difficult days, is one of the signs that the power of the spirit of Religion is still at work. Religion, tradition, and fear can keep believers suspicious and skeptical of the unfolding strategies and revelations from the Lord, that are appearing to facilitate this soon-coming end time revival. The book of Daniel indicates that the Lord has some amazing revelations locked up, that will be held until the time of the glorious end of days battles.
Jeremiah 33:2-3 tells us that the Lord will educate us … and will likely break our human mindset grids about Him in these days. The text says: “Thus says YHVH, who made the earth, YHVH who formed it and established it. YHVH is His name. Call to Me, and I will answer, and show you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”
When referring to the activities of the anti-Christ, Daniel (in Daniel chapter 11:32b, NKJV) tells us that:
“but the people that do know their God, shall be strong, and do exploits.” (to accomplish, they will act)
In this season of the earth, the Righteous Remnant needs to become aware of the level of responsibility, and authority, that the Lord has given to us as a trust. It is an authority to apply in obedience, according to His leading, in His service, for His glory. We must stop simply saying that “the Lord is in change”, while doing very little, (or nothing) to initiate/enact change in our world … or doing little/nothing of pushback against the Enemy. Psalm 155:16 is very clear, but few know this scripture, nor its impact.
16 The heavens are the heavens of the LORD,
But the earth He has given to the sons of mankind.
YHVH has GIVEN the world to human beings to sort out, and to govern according to His law and leading. He has entrusted us with the authority to determine outcomes, to create outcomes, and to govern. Those, who are in fellowship with the Lord, and who claim Him as Lord, are supposed to be the movers and shakers … those, who establish the things of the Kingdom upon the earth through using our authority and power. Rather than pick up the scepter of authority, granted to us by Almighty God, most believers tend to leave everything for God to enact, or to other people, and to various human agencies to bring change, and to establish leadership decisions. Many believers doubt that humans have the invitation from the Lord to do great things, nor the ability to do impossible things at His bidding. Satan has been very effective in disempowering the Body of Messiah through doubt, fear, skepticism, control, and blindness. We have access to the King of Heaven, and to the Righteous Judge, but most fail to understand that, or to believe that reality. Few consult Him consistently … and fewer expect a clear, discernable answer back from Him. And that is why we are in such a terrible state in so many ways. By not picking up and using our God-given authority, we have surrendered influence and power into unholy hands. It’s time to take back the ground we have lost.
A key assignment, in my calling to the UK, has been to awaken members of the Body of Messiah to the Kingdom, to the power of the Kingdom … and then to rise up and play their role in the Kingdom, as heirs of that Kingdom. I was called to expand the vision of the Righteous Remnant regarding what the Lord wants to give them, and what He wants to accomplish on the earth through them. Going beyond our mindsets, expectations and theologies … by moving into His Kingdom truth and applying/using it … we will change situations on the ground, as well as change the course of our nations. The wonders that YHVH wants to do through us … the signs that He wants to display … the revelations that He wants to bring to His children of the earth … are often forestalled, due to a lack of understanding, and to the lack of faith in His children, to actually do those things. Following the troubling issues of doubt, and the lack of understanding and faith, we find the issue of neglected obedience. Radical vision, combined with apprehending His radical revelations, combined with radical faith and obedience are the things that take down the Enemy … and which brings forth the Kingdom of YHVH into a reality upon the earth. Radical is never unbiblical, and is always in agreement with the way, will, and word of YHVH. Yeshua was radical in His day, so must we be radicals in our time; operating in His holiness, humility, submission, obedience and love.
I pray that we will all be so intimate with, and so confident in, the Love, and in the Power of the Lord, that we will be able to discern the new things that He will be bringing to sweep the feet of the evil ones. Human dogma, human flesh, and the theologies of man will present some significant obstacles to the breakthroughs, if we don’t move into the revealed Kingdom. I truly believe that the Lord will, one day soon, pour out His Spirit; exposing now badly many of us have “missed it” when considering who He is, and what He wants to do through us … but which is outside of our present grid of understanding. I suspect there are times when Yeshua chuckles as He listens to us declaring our man-made theological and eschatological absolutes; knowing that we are seeing as through a glass dimly; often filling in the blanks to satisfy our own arrogant, or comfortable, understanding.
But now, the Holy Spirit is being poured out. Will we access that Spirit, and drink of the Living Water that He is bringing to refresh us in these difficult days? Will we eat the holy manna He is providing for this season of the earth, to empower us … to strengthen us … to enlighten us … and to heal us?? Given that the Hebrew word manna translates to “what is it?”, I suspect many believers will be too busy deciding if they will trust what the Lord is bringing to them … hesitating to dine on the treasure food/revelation … and instead getting weaker in spiritual malnutrition; while trying to figure out what it is He is bringing/doing. All the while, we only need to ask HIM, with open hearts, open minds, and open hands.
We may be in the wilderness, but the Lord has provided well for us all the way to the promised land of Revival. Many of the Righteous Remnant are coming on board … uniting, believing, embracing the Truth of the Kingdom, and longing for it to manifest upon the earth. Across the world, and across all the nations, may the rising of His Righteous Remnant, being empowered by the Lord of Lords, move as a massive wall of holy fire to cover the earth in Kingdom revival. Let’s all get on board! It’s already starting.
