Riding a Wave of Economic Growth and Prosperity to Success on Election Day

Why This Election Matters

Tomorrow's election is important – for all of us.  The election results will significantly impact the direction of our state and our nation. You as a voter have an important choice to make. Do you want to support the continuation of Republican policies that lead to economic growth, new jobs, border security, progress on peace and strong national defense? Or do you want to support the increasingly liberal, progressive left, which wants to expend their energy trying to impeach our President (and Supreme Court Justice), open our borders to illegal immigrants, abolish ICE, issue endless subpoenas, reverse the historic tax cuts and put zealots like Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters and Adam Schiff in control of Congress? A vote for the latter is a vote to condone the mob tactics of the left and undo the progress of the past two years.

Here's a simple comparison of a Congress led by Republicans versus one run by Democrats:
Republican Control

  • Low unemployment and higher wages
  • Historic tax cuts
  • America first (for all Americans)
  • Secure borders and legal immigration
  • Focus on economic growth and peace
  • Honoring due process
  • Judges who respect the Constitution
  • Fewer stifling regulations
Democrat Control

  • Job growth stagnation
  • Higher taxes, higher govt spending
  • Identity politics and divisiveness
  • Abolish ICE and open the borders to all
  • Focus on impeachment and subpoenas
  • Honoring mob rule
  • Judges who legislate from the bench
  • Plenty of stifling regulations
We need not only Republicans, but all thoughtful voters in Radnor, to call a halt to the madness of the left.  Locally, our candidate for the newly created 5th U.S. Congressional District is Radnor’s own Pearl Kim . A fiscal conservative, Pearl is the daughter of Korean immigrants and has an impressive resume of public service, including more than a decade as a Special Victims Prosecutor in the Delco DA’s office. Pearl will not only serve as our fierce advocate in Congress, but a vote for Pearl also blunts the specter of a Nancy Pelosi-led U.S. Congress .
State Representative Alex Charlton (PA 165th) is seeking re-election to continue his work on education reform, job creation, and opioid addiction. Alex has delivered tangible results to Radnor , including increased state funding for Radnor Schools, funding for gun safety programs, and more open space, and, importantly, is working actively to bring State RCAP funding to projects in Radnor. His opponent is heavily funded by Philadelphia Democrats and labor unions and has no experience and no new ideas. In the PA 166th, the intrepid Baltazar Rubio is taking on perpetual do-little Democrat Greg Vitali , who has cruised to victory every two years for decades because of his registration advantage. Rubio thinks 25 years of the same old nothing is enough, and, like Charlton, is focused on job creation and the opioid crisis.

We learned through the Kavanaugh hearings how crucial it is for the Senate to remain in the hands of those who value the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.   Lou Barletta has crossed our state tirelessly in an effort to highlight his commitment to these institutions, in addition to job creation and tax relief. It’s time to retire tired Senator Bob Casey, among the least productive Senators in the country.

Gubernatorial candidate Scott Wagner has the right ideas and experience to govern so much more effectively for all Pennsylvanians in a way that Governor Wolf has not. He gets the importance of policies that support business and job growth; that put education funding in the right places; that takes on the opioid crisis head on; and that gets tough with the graft and corruption running in and through Harrisburg.

So, please, take this election seriously.   Because, when they go low, we go to the polls. Time for #RedWaveRadnor.
" The left is entering a new phase of ideological agitation no longer trying to win the debate but stopping debate altogether, banishing from public discourse any and all opposition. The proper word for that attitude is totalitarian. It declares certain controversies over and visits serious consequences from social ostracism to vocational defenestration upon those who refuse to be silenced. "Charles Krauthammer

“I saw the Democratic Party from the inside and saw the way that the party racially and ethnically balkanizes our country and encourages people to turn on each other and to look at each other as competing interests and not as fellow Americans.” Kevin Nicholson, a one-time head of the College Democrats of America who is now running for Senate in Wisconsin as a Republican

If Democrats win Tuesday, it will be despite this crowd, not because of it. They’d be wise to remember that a vote to rebuke President Trump’s inflammatory politics isn’t the same as an embrace of a progressive agenda or its candidates.
