Another Great Week to Be a Raider! 

Dear Raider Family,

Thank you for another wonderful week at Sonora! It’s hard to believe we have already completed our third week of school, and I'm still impressed by the energy, kindness, and Raider pride our students and families bring to campus each day.

💙 Thank You for a Wonderful Back-to-School Night!

Thank you to our families for your flexibility and kindness as we tried a temporary new format for Back-to-School Night. We loved seeing our campus filled with families, students, and staff connecting and celebrating all that Sonora has to offer.

A huge thank you to our ASB, Cheer, Drill, Band, Dance Production, JROTC, Color Guard, programs, athletic teams, teachers, counselors, parents, and students who made the evening so memorable!

Exciting news for next year: we’ll keep the fun and bring back traditional classroom visits, including the opportunity to showcase our brand-new science labs!

🎉 Club Rush was a huge success!

Our campus was full of energy as students explored the many clubs and opportunities available at Sonora. It was exciting to see such strong participation and so many students connecting with one another around shared interests. Getting involved is one of the best ways for students to build friendships, find their place, and make Sonora their own.

🏈 Raiders Win Again!

Congratulations to our football team on another impressive victory, defeating Rosemead 45–3! Our students are absolutely crushing it across athletics, performances, activities, and competitions. 🎓 College Night – Thursday, September 3!

We are excited to welcome our students and families to College Night on Thursday, September 3, at 6:00 PM in the Large Gym! This is a wonderful opportunity to explore college options, connect with representatives, ask questions, and begin thinking about the exciting possibilities ahead. Whether college is right around the corner or still a few years away, all Raider families are welcome!

🏠 Homecoming & Hall of Fame — September 11

The Raider spirit continues! Mark your calendars for Homecoming and Hall of Fame on September 11 and join us at the football game for a fantastic night celebrating our students, alumni, and Raider community.

Better yet, come out and see us at all of our events! Whether it’s a game, match, performance, competition, or campus activity, there is always something happening at Sonora, and our students love seeing their community cheering them on.

ALL Sports Including Cheer, Dance, JROTC, & Band Must Register

1) Go to homecampus.com/login

• Please use the following Handout to help guide you through the Athletic Clearance process.
• Create an account and complete all sections: Watch the VIDEO for detailed instructions.
• **Very Important** Choose “Sonora” (CIF-SS)” on the list and the School Year "2023/2024".

2) You must upload Page 4 of the PHYSICAL FORM

1. Print & Fill Out the Physical Form for your visit to the doctor.
2. Page 4 MUST BE COMPLETED (MEDICAL CLEARANCE STATUS MARKED AND EMERGENCY CONTACTS FILLED OUT), SIGNED, STAMPED & DATED BY A PHYSICIAN. 

• Only the signature from an MD, DO, or PA will be accepted. Signatures from Chiropractors and Nurse Practitioners are NOT accepted.

1. Page 4 of the Physical Form must then be uploaded to Home Campus.
2. There is no form under the signed Confirmation Page. Please skip that and go back to upload the form at the end of the process.

 3) Once you have completed the signatures and uploaded the physical form on Home Campus, Print out the Confirmation Page from homecampus.com/login  

• Print & Complete (Both parent & student signatures are required).
• Please be advised that each sport/activity must be listed at the top of the page in order to be cleared for that sport during the 2023-24 school year.
• Go back into Home Campus and upload the Confirmation Page into the Signed Confirmation Page Form

You are not cleared until you receive a clearance email from Home Campus. Our Admin team must review all submissions prior to your student-athlete receiving clearance. You may follow the status of your clearance on the Home Campus website.
